School Sponsored Dances and the Prom

Central High School Supported Activities

Central High School offers students the opportunity to socialize with their peers. A school sponsored dance gives students some "out of class" time to get to know each other better. In a relaxed environment students learn socially accepted behavior. Dances also help students to make long lasting friendships with their fellow classmates.

Central High School sponsored dances are chaperoned. With a few exceptions, dances are held in the evening at the high school.

With the exception of the Prom, these dances are not always scheduled. When these dances are scheduled, there will be an announcement placed on the announcements page on this web site or on the activities calendars that the school provides.
