Congratulations to the following FBLA members that placed yesterday at the regional level: Brayden Mozingo-2nd place, Healthcare Administration and Kara Bishop who placed 3rd in Public Speaking II. Brayden will compete at the FBLA State Leadership Conference in Reston, April 12 through 15th.
Track practice for distance runners will be at the Middle School, after school, and everyone else will meet at Coach Thomas' room for practice. Practice should be over by 4:20. Everyone running track needs to be there.
Seniors: Please make sure you see Mrs. Blanken by Friday to sign the senior shirt design. Also, orders and money for senior apparel are due Wednesday, March 14 and doughnut orders are due Thursday, March 15.
Band members: just a reminder that the final February Band Disney trip payment is past due. Please pay this ASAP.
Any students in grades 8-12 who are interested in participating in flag/color guard for the fall may attend practice after school today from 3:45-5:30. You do not need to be a current member of the band to participate.
Any student who is interested in being a part of the UHS Marching drum line for the fall, there will be practice after school at UHS on Thursday from 3:45-5:00. Please contact Zeke Owens for more information.
The Girls Soccer Team will be holding an all day bake sale today through Friday.
If anyone is interested in the Europe trip please see Mr. Tiller at lunch today or after school to get the information packet for tonight's meeting.
New Yudabands have arrived! and are on sale today. Tickets for Yudaband T-shirts may be purchased from Miss Carico. Ticket prices are $1 each, 3 tickets for $2 and 10 for $5. Shirts come in colors of Blue, Yellow and Orange and range in size from Small to 2X Large. For every $50.00 in ticket sales, two shirts will be given away.
Prom tickets are now on sale, $20 for individuals and $35 for couples. Please see Mrs. Menneguin or Mrs. Lewis.
Seniors, please listen to this very important announcement: If you plan to attend Mountain Empire Community College this summer after graduation or in the fall, please come by the guidance office to sign up. Even if this is a back-up plan for you, make sure you sign up.
