Good Morning Union!
There will be track practice after school at the park, if it is raining, practice will be held inside at the high school, Distance runners will practice at the Middle School. Listen to the afternoon announcements for updates.
Any Tennis player that has a shirt order form, needs to turn the form and money into Coach Chandler by Friday. .
FBLA members, if you tested or competed please see Mrs. Crabtree for a permission form for the awards conference at UVA-Wise.
All band students going on the trip to Disney, your final payment is due ASAP!
Mr. Tiller is planning an educational trip to London, Paris, and Rome for the Summer of 2019. Any Sophomore, Junior or Senior who is interested in going on the trip, please see Mr. Tiller for information on the preview meeting on March 7th.
Yudabands will be sold during all lunches through March 14th. Tickets for Yudaband T-shirts will also be on sale. Ticket prices are $1 each, 3 for $2 and 10 for $5. Shirts come in colors of Blue, Yellow and Orange and range in size from Small to 2X Large. For every $50.00 in ticket sales, two shirts will be given away.
Prom tickets are now on sale, $20 for individuals and $35 for couples. Please see Mrs. Menneguin or Mrs. Lewis.
JV and Varsity Football after-school lifting starts Monday, March 5. Lift from 3:30-5:00 on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.

If you plan to attend Mountain Empire Community College this summer after graduation or in the fall, please come by the guidance office to sign up. Even if this is a back-up plan for you, make sure you sign up.
Applications and brochures for Governor's School are now available in the guidance office. Please stop by for one if you are interested.
The Nick England Memorial Scholarship is now available. Please come by guidance for the application
Juniors, applications are now available for the UVA-Early College Academy. If you are intersted, please come by guidance office for an application packet.
Need a prom dress without breaking the bank? You're in luck! There are two prom events being held this weekend.
Zion Family Ministries, located behind Wendy's in Wise, is hosting "Prom Project" on Saturday, March 3rd from 1-5 pm. They will have dresses, shoes, and accessories for FREE! There will also be door prizes and refreshments.
The YWCA is also hosting a prom event, to be held on Saturday, March 3rd from 9 am- 5 pm. at the School Board Office located in Wise. You may purchase a dress at this event for $25, or if you are unable to pay, there will be no charge. The YWCA expects to have over 1,000 dresses to choose from.
As the weather gets warmer, please remember to abide by the dress code. Shorts must be fingertip or longer on the sides. Athletic shorts must still extend past your fingertips at the shortest point.
