Due to power outages at multiple schools, Wise County Public Schools will operate on a Code 2 schedule on Thursday, February 29, 2024!
Code 2 is our 2-Hour Delay Schedule for students.

Hello, it's Union Little League baseball's time for their clinic and skills assessment this weekend at the Appalachia High School gym. You can see the schedule on the UMS Facebook page. The skills clinic will be run by the UHS staff and players on Saturday.
Hello Union Middle! I saw something very exciting this morning, Coach Edwards and Coach McFarland are now driving electric buses! Those are the first in our attendance zone. Be on the lookout for bus #EV55 and #EV64. Very cool.
Union Little League is selling nice hoodies (you can see the design on the UMS Facebook page). The hoodie is $30 and the crewneck is $25 ($3 extra for XXL and up). Pre-order closes on 2/25/24. You can message any ULL board member on Facebook to order.
Middle School Baseball practice starts Wednesday from 5:00-6:30.
Union Middle School is very proud of our awesome 7th grade reading teacher, Mr. Meade. This week he won the "Tennessee's Next Country Star" competition. He will get some recording and concert opportunities to go along with this!! AWESOME!!

UMS, I made a major mistake and scheduled the dance over top of softball tryouts. The coaches have generously agreed to move the 2nd day of UMS softball tryouts to next Monday at 5:30 at the field. I appreciate them working with us and it is TOTALLY Mr. C's fault.
