Hello UMS! Report cards will come home NEXT Thursday, 3/27/25. Grades close this week for the 3rd 9-weeks. It’s difficult to believe that we are 3/4 done with this school year! Time passes in the blink of an eye it seems.

6th grade Parents/Guardians, Please be mindful that 6th grade students will need the following vaccines before starting 7th grade. Failure to obtain these vaccines will result in not being able to attend school next year. The upcoming vaccination clinic is a great time for your child to get these vaccines: -TDAP -Meningococcal -HPV Parents who choose to opt their students out of these shots may do so. Please contact agarrison@wisek12.org or mrasnic@wisek12.org to obtain the necessary form.

JV baseball game is cancelled today. JV and MS baseball will practice in the UMS gym after school.

The winning homeroom gets a pizza party! Thank you for your donation!!! Please send all items to homerooms so they can be counted. Each homeroom is in the contest and we don't allow homerooms to combine!!!

Due to the presence of black ice and some snow covered roads, Wise County Public Schools will operate on a Code 3 Schedule today, Thursday, March 6, 2025! Code 3 is a virtual learning day for students.

Due to the weather that is forecasted to impact our area, Wise County Public Schools will operate on a Code 2 schedule tomorrow, Thursday, March 6, 2025! Code 2 schedule is a 2-Hour Delay for our students.

Hello UMS, just a reminder that there is an adjusted calendar and the third nine weeks doesn't end until 3/21/25. I know I have gotten a few questions. Also, there are no more noon dismissals this year until the very last day of school. Also, we DO have school this Monday, 3/10/25.
