Wise Primary Families and Students,
We have some huge news to celebrate, and it is all because of YOU!
The Virginia Department of Education recently released the school scores for the entire state, and Wise Primary School scored an incredible 96.49 out of 100 points! This achievement earns our school Distinguished Status—meaning Wise Primary is one of the top schools in the Commonwealth of Virginia! This status is based on 3rd- and 4th-grade SOL scores in 2025-26.
Here is how you shone in every category:
Mastery (What you learned): 52.89 out of 55
Growth (How much you improved): 33.86 out of 35
Readiness (Being prepared every day): 9.73 out of 10
Every time you asked a question, tried your best on a test, read a story, or helped a classmate, you contributed to this awesome achievement. We are so proud of your hard work, your big smiles, and your determination to learn every single day.
We know we have a lot of work to do in 2026-27, and we are ready for the challenge. We are off to a great start in these first 9 weeks of school.
Give yourselves and your classmates a big round of applause. You make Wise Primary School the best place to be!
Keep up the extraordinary work!
