Due to power outages at multiple schools, Wise County Public Schools will operate on a Code 2 schedule on Thursday, February 29, 2024!
Code 2 is our 2-Hour Delay Schedule for students.
Eastside High School, Coeburn Middle School, and Coeburn Primary School will be dismissing today, February 28, 2024, at 2pm! These are the only schools dismissing early!
The power is out at Eastside High School, Coeburn Middle School, and Coeburn Primary School. We have trees down over the roadway leading to Coeburn Primary. We have teams on site working to remove the tree and determine when power will be restored!

Capital One is very excited to share that we are offering three scholarships in the amounts of $2,000, $3,000, and $5,000 to aid and honor talented high school seniors in Virginia who are the dependents of active duty, current serving reservists, military retirees*, or Gold Star families**, and have exemplified excellence through school work and community leadership.

‼️We will provide a pep bus for the girls’ regional semifinal game at UVA Wise Convo Center. Tip off is 4pm

When: Bus will depart at 2:45 from EHS…
Bus will return to EHS at approximately 8pm- students will need a ride home from EHS
Details: entry fee will be covered; students will need to bring cash for concessions
