Chena Indian Village, try to spot a grizzly bear in Denali
National Park, and travel to Anchorage to go on a glacier

EHS Paws and Claws has been asked to assist Homeward Trails to recruit volunteers for their Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR Event) and Wellness Clinic Event this weekend.
Please consider volunteering an hour or 2 (or more) of your time to help this worthy cause and to help address our stray cat population in our area.
All community members are invited to help! They would love to see parents and teens come out to help! Minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult :)
Volunteer Opportunities:
Friday 9am-5pm Volunteers will be paired with trappers to assist with setting up of traps and will also help to deliver cat carriers to owners.
4pm-6pm-help feed cats and help with clean up
Saturday 9am-11am-help feed cats and help with clean up
12pm-4pm-need volunteers to drive and pick up owned cats in carriers
4pm-6pm-help feed cats and clean
Sunday-10am-4pm-help build feral cat houses
11am-1pm-help prep and load cats for transport
4pm-6pm-help feed and clean
Monday-10am-4pm help build cat shelters, assist with drive up animal wellness clinic
Tuesday-12pm-7pm-help clean up facility

Eastside Paws & Claws Club is extending our pet supply drive until this Friday. Please consider donating old towels, rags, blankets, cleaning supplies, bleach, dog food, dog toys, etc. All donations will go to the Wise County Animal Shelter. Help us, help the Animal Shelter!
We will have a homecoming dance on Friday, February 3. It will begin immediately after the Castlewood game and end at 11:00 PM. Dress is casual and admission is $5 at the door. Please come to guidance if you plan to bring an out-of-school date to complete a form for approval by administration.

If any Eastside student wants to sign up for the Pep Bus going to Twin Springs tomorrow, you may do so in the Guidance Office. The deadline to sign up is noon tomorrow. The bus will be leaving promptly at 5:00. Students must bring $6 for admission and money for concessions. Go Spartans!!!
