As you know, Governor Northam announced on Friday, November 13, 2020, some new guidelines to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19. The two parts that will impact schools to any extent are the 25 person limit on social gatherings (although this will not impact the instructional day, but could impact activities and athletics) and mask wearing.
All students, age 5 and older, and adults who are visiting, passing through, or spending time in the school building will be required to wear a mask at all times inside the school building unless they are eating or drinking and can maintain six feet of social distance from others nearby.
Our students have done an outstanding job so far of following the previous mask guidelines and we are confident they will continue to do so with this new mask mandate.
