If you would like to make a nomination for a Homecoming Court, please use the Google Form posted in your grade level SCA page to submit a response by Wednesday, September 7, 2022, by 3pm. Any student that has not yet joined their grade level Google Classroom, please drop by room 103 for assistance.
Any student interested in working on a float for the Homecoming Parade, please attend the planning meeting at 11:45am, in room 103, on Wednesday, September 7th.

Our Paws & Claws Club enjoyed our guests from the Humane Society today. Looking forward to our future collaborations together đșđ¶ We are assisting them in helping to identify dogs/cats in need of being spayed/neutered, they have resources available to provide low cost/free spay and neuter for your pets or even stray animals that you are aware of. Wise County high school students and families, join us Sept. 1 for the College Search Kickoff at our football season opener!
Youâll get to hear a brief UVA Wise overview, tailgate with the Highland Cavalier community, and get free entry to our football teamâs inaugural game of the season. Youâll also be registered to win door prizes.
Door prizes include: an Apple Watch, AirPods, and restaurant gift cards

Attention EHS 2022 Graduates and current students:
2021-2022 Yearbooks are ready to be picked up. If you ordered and didn't pre-pay, please have payment when you pick up your yearbook. If you did not order and wish to purchase one, we have extra. The cost is $40.00.
Seniors from last year - pick up your yearbook from the main office. Thanks
Horizons Club dues are $5, and may be paid to Ms. Abbot, Mrs. Ramey, or Ms. Bright, through Friday, September 2nd
Seniors- Please make sure to get your Meningitis booster and get that documentation turned into the guidance office as soon as possible. Students may not be allowed to return to school after September 6th if proof of vaccination is not turned in.
Pep Club Members please check your google classroom and submit suggestions for Student Section themes no later than Wednesday, Aug 24th.
National Honor Society Announcement
Members of National Honor Society currently owe their dues of $15. Money can be brought to Mrs. Tilina Stapleton or Ms. Chloe Hayes.
Eastsideâs Paws & Claws Club is doing a pet food drive to assist Wise Countyâs Humane Society with their efforts to help homeless animals in our area as well as displaced pets in Eastern KY as a result of the flooding. Our Drive will run from August 18th-August 31st. Items can be dropped off at Eastside High School- a collection table will be in the Commons Area. We are collecting adult dog/cat food and puppy/kitten food as well. Thank you!
