Meals will be available for pickup at SPE, CMS, UHS, and CHS from 11 am – 1 pm and at JWA from 11 am – 12 pm.

Announcement from our Early Childhood Special Education Program:


Meals will be available for pick up Friday, March 5th, 2021, for students who are virtual learners and non-enrolled children ages 1-18 on a first come, first served basis. Meals will be available for pickup at SPE, CMS, UHS, and CHS from 11am – 1pm and at JWA from 11am – 12pm.

Wise County Public Schools will operate on a 2-Hour Delay on Tuesday, March 2, 2021.

Wise County Public Schools will operate on a CODE-1 today, Monday, March 1, 2021. All schools are closed and students will receive their instruction online.

Tonight, SpaceX was attempting to launch more satellites into orbit to support their Starlink service. While the mission was aborted, our school division was referenced for utilizing the service to reach 45 homes in Wise County. Take a listen at the 11:45 mark.

This is just a reminder that there is no food distribution tomorrow (February 19, 2021). Food was distributed on Wednesday due to the forecast.

Wise County Public Schools will operate on a Code-1 on Thursday, February 18, 2021.

We are thankful that we have been able to partner with SpaceX and provide high speed Internet to those that otherwise have not had access to it!
