Given the weather forecast for our area the remainder of the week, WCPS Food Services is making meals available TODAY (Wednesday, February 17, 2021) for in-person, virtual, and non-enrolled children (ages 1-18) on a first come, first served basis based on the schedule below:
SPE and UHS - 2:00pm - 4:00pm
CMS and CHS - 12:00pm - 2:00pm
JWA - 12:30pm - 1:30pm
There will be no pick-ups on Friday, February 19, 2021.

Wise County Public Schools will operate on a CODE-1 on Wednesday, February 17, 2021. Schools are closed but students will receive virtual instruction.

Wise County Food Services will offer meal pick up for virtual students and non-enrolled children ages 1-18 tomorrow, Monday, February 15, 2021, from 12-2 at SPE, CMS, UHS & CHS and 12-1 at JWA.
Meals are first come, first served, until all meals have been distributed.

Wise County Public Schools will operate on a CODE-1 on Monday, February 15, 2021! This means schools are closed, but students will receive their instruction virtually.

Due to the icy conditions, and potential for more ice overnight, our food distributions scheduled for tomorrow are cancelled for all locations (SPE, CMS, JWA, CHS, and UHS).

Due to the Ice Storm Warning that has been issued for our area, Wise County Public Schools will operate on a CODE-1 tomorrow, Thursday, February 11, 2021.

The Wise County School Board and the Clerk of the Board were recognized tonight as we celebrate School Board Appreciation Month.

On Friday, February 5, 2021, meals will be available for in person learners, virtual learners and non-enrolled children ages 1-18 to pick up on a first come, first served basis at SPE, CMS, UHS, and CHS from 11 am – 1 pm and at JWA from 11 am – 12 pm.

The Special Education Advisory Committee will have a virtual meeting on Thursday, February 11th at 10:00 am, to review the 2021-22 Special Education Annual Plan and provide input before presenting it to the school board for approval in March. All staff and parents of private school students, as well as parents of home-schooled students, are invited to participate.
